Cedaro is the sister company of Digital Phone Company (DPC). Established in 1994, DPC was at the forefront of the mobile phone revolution and is widely considered as one of the trailblazers of our industry. Now entirely retail-facing, DPC remains to this day the largest and oldest independent mobile phone provider in East Anglia. From its inception, it has been a local, family owned and managed company.
Digital Phone Company started trading in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in March 1994 from a single store. Based on an enviable record of expert knowledge, exceptional customer service and close relationships with networks, DPC was able to expand rapidly, to encompass as many as 20 retail outlets, spread all across East Anglia.
DPC is well known for its shirt sponsorship of Norwich City Football Club between the years of 2001 – 2003. This was a key part of the company’s history and epitomised the businesses’ ethos of integrating with and supporting the local community.
Whilst never deviating from retail, DPC began supplying mobile solutions to businesses in the early 2000’s. Again, due to excellent levels of customer service and expert local knowledge, DPC became one of the leading suppliers of business telephony in the region. So much so that the operation soon needed to become its own entity. In 2007, OneStream became DPC’s dedicated business division. Catering to companies with anywhere between 2-250 handsets, the brand grew from strength to strength before it began offering more than just mobile solutions. Fixed line, VOIP, Vehicle tracking, Broadband, IT support and unified communications all became part of the OneStream product portfolio – facilitated by key industry partnerships with the likes of Vodafone, Microsoft and Crystal Ball. The OneStream brand amassed on enviable customer base of loyal and satisfied business customers.
