History
Cedaro is a modern communications provider built on a rich heritage that spans more than three decades. As the sister company of Digital Phone Company (DPC), our foundations are rooted in one of East Anglia’s most established and respected names in mobile communications.
Established in 1994 in Great Yarmouth, our sister business, Digital Phone Company, is the region’s longest-standing, independent retail mobile provider. From a single retail outlet, built on principles of network partnership, local knowledge and uncompromising customer service, it grew into a well-recognised presence across East Anglia. DPC continues to maintain strong ties to the local community.
Reflected in its exclusive consumer communications partnership with AF Group and its sponsorship of Norwich City Football Club between 2001 and 2003. DPC remains the largest independent mobile retailer in the region and still operates as a family-owned business.
Alongside its retail success, we developed a strong reputation for supporting organisations with their mobile and wider communication needs. In 2007, our dedicated B2B offering, Onestream, was launched, working closely with partners such as Vodafone, Microsoft and Crystal Ball. Following the growth of its customer base, Onestream was acquired in 2013 as the group refocused on its consumer offering.
By 2017, demand for business communications had become clear once again. With the introduction of new network partnerships, including Plan.com, Cedaro was launched as the next step in our evolution.

We work closely with our retail outlets across the region, keeping our ear to the ground about connectivity on a postcode level and allowing our clients ‘in-person’ customer service wherever they are.
